Roblox's official ban numbers

Every account ban Roblox reports to the European Union. Under the Digital Services Act, Roblox files a statement for each moderation decision affecting players in the EU and EEA, and the EU publishes them in its DSA Transparency Database, a day or two later.

These are Roblox's own numbers, kept separate from the community count: that one counts the ban screens people post, worldwide; this one counts every ban Roblox made on EU and EEA accounts, posted or not.

How these are counted

  • A ban is an account termination (permanent) or a suspension for a set time. Lengths are worked out from the dates Roblox gives and rounded up to the lengths a ban screen shows.
  • Reasons come from the rule Roblox cites in each statement, matched to the reason a ban screen would show. Alt accounts banned for evading another ban are counted as Linked Account Enforcement.
  • Each ban counts on the day Roblox filed it, usually the day it happened. Warnings aren't included: Roblox only files decisions that restrict something.
  • Only players in the EU and EEA are covered. Bans elsewhere in the world don't appear here.
